targo.ai Inc. ("targo", "we", "us", or "our") provides an autonomous AI marketing platform designed to help small and mid-sized businesses optimize advertising campaigns across third-party platforms. This Privacy Policy explains what personal and business information we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your rights under applicable privacy legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).

We collect information in the following categories:

  • Account & Profile Information: Name, work email address, company name, website URL, billing address, and authentication credentials.
  • Connected Ad Account Telemetry: When you authorize targo via OAuth 2.0 to connect to your ad accounts (such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, or Shopify), we ingest campaign performance data, impressions, clicks, conversions, CPC/CPA metrics, creative assets, and conversion tags.
  • Technical & Usage Information: IP addresses, browser types, device identifiers, session timestamps, and interaction logs with our web interface.

3. Zero Public Model Training Commitment

We understand that your customer lists, sales revenue, and marketing data are your proprietary competitive advantage. targo.ai does not use your private customer data, sales records, or internal conversion logs to train public foundation models or shared artificial intelligence algorithms. Any model fine-tuning performed on your account is strictly tenant-isolated and dedicated solely to serving your business.

4. How We Use Your Information

We process your data for the following legitimate business purposes:

  • Running autonomous marketing agents to formulate, bid, test, and reallocate campaigns.
  • Providing real-time audit gap analyses and performance benchmark comparisons.
  • Processing subscription payments and managing account security.
  • Monitoring system reliability, detecting security anomalies, and preventing fraudulent activity.
  • Communicating product updates, optimization alerts, and customer support responses.

5. Third-Party Platform APIs

Our platform connects with third-party advertising APIs including Google Ads API, Meta Marketing API, TikTok Ads API, and e-commerce APIs. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Data Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard administrative, physical, and technical safeguards. All data in transit is protected using TLS 1.3 encryption, and data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. We retain your performance telemetry for as long as your account remains active. Upon account termination, your connected account tokens are permanently purged.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

  • Access and receive a copy of your personal data.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request permanent deletion ("right to be forgotten").
  • Revoke OAuth authorization to any connected ad platform at any time.
